Congratulations on finishing up your fall trimester! As you prepare for your winter break, we want to give you the opportunity to mark your calendars for some important dates in January regarding cover letter training
sessions. Attendance/participation is required as part of your LLP grade for the Winter 2022 trimester.
1. How to Write a Strong Cover Letter
Offered in person & via Zoom to accommodate the 1L class
Thursday, January 6, 2022, 12:40-1:20 p.m.
2. Pick from one of the following Peer Review sessions by registering in Pathways Events:
Sessions are in person & capped at 30 students. For these sessions, you should bring a well-written cover letter for a real legal internship! Bring a printed copy of your cover
letter, the job description for the internship you found, a pen, and your laptop.

3. Within 48 hours of your peer review session, upload a “ready to go to an employer” cover letter and a copy of the job description for which you have written your cover letter. Cover
letters will be reviewed & approved within 5-7 business days from the Office of Career & Student Development.
