Now Accepting Law School Grant Applications for the 2022 - 23 Year

The NCSHCA, in its continued effort to expand opportunities for community outreach and practical experience in the area of health care law, is making available up to $2,500 in grant funds for the 2022-2023 academic year to be used by one or more law school programs or clinics. The NCSHCA is seeking grant applications that focus on students providing assistance to clients in the area of health care law, including practical “hands on” experience for the students involved in a given program or clinic and the promotion of community outreach. The NCSHCA also hopes that this grant program will facilitate mentorship by practicing health care attorneys around the State. The grant funds will be awarded to one or more clinics or programs affiliated with a North Carolina law school.

The grant application is due Monday, May 2, 2022, by the close of business by e-mail to Elizabeth Taylor, Assistant Executive Director, at executivedirector@ncshca.org.
