The Piedmont Triad Women Attorneys are hosting a CLE next Friday, November 15th entitled “Emerging Ethics” and presented by Lawyer’s Mutual. Topics will
include:
- An overview of NC State Bar and quarterly results,
- New and pending NC State Bar ethics opinions,
- An update on technology, advertising, and social media ethics opinions, and
- An update on how and when to disclose potential malpractice to a client.
- Discussion of recent case law, ethics opinions and hypotheticals
The CLE will be held at Carruthers & Roth, P.A. (235 N. Edgeworth St.) from 12:00pm to 1:30pm. Lunch will be provided. The cost is $10 for law students and PTWA members and $20 for non-members. CLE approval is pending for 1 hour of Ethics credit.
