Students from across the state will work together to solve key challenges identified by the NC Department of Information and Technology. Students may apply as teams or as individuals and will be grouped together to work remotely as entrepreneurship teams. Each team will be assigned both an entrepreneurial mentor from the GEC
and a technical mentor from NCDIT. Over the semester (Feb-April 2020), the students will go through the entrepreneurial process including idea generation, concept development, customer feedback, and creation of a final product. The goal of the program is to create new and innovative product that will improve services for citizens throughout the state. At the conclusion of the semester, the teams will present their projects and meet and take pictures with the Governor. It is imperative this
project engage every corner of our state to ensure the best and brightest are at the table.
