- First-Generation Awards Ceremony - Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7:30pm
On Thursday, Nov. 5th, we will be hosting our first-ever awards ceremony recognizing members of the first-generation college community for their achievements and contributions. During this event, we will announce the recipient of the Robert and Ann Hamby First-Generation Student Experience Fund and make a special announcement regarding a new fund for first-generation college students. - Social Media Celebration - Friday, Nov. 6 (all day)
On Friday, Nov. 6th, the celebration continues on our social media platforms (Instagram/Facebook: @ElonFirstGens) as we reveal a revamped logo created by first-generation college students. We will also have new First-Gen swag and snack giveaways for students! *Please note this is a passive event and
will be happening all day.
- First-Generation College Student Panel - Monday, Nov. 9 at 6:00pm
On Monday, Nov. 9th from 6-7pm, we will host our first-ever, student-led first-generation student panel. Panelists will share their experiences navigating college, resources used, and talk about lessons learned.

- Fireside Chat with Dr. Anthony Abraham Jack, Assistant Professor of Education at Harvard Graduate School - Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7:30pm
On Tuesday, Nov. 10th, from 7:30-8:30pm, we will close this 4-day series of events with a fireside chat featuring Dr. Anthony Abraham Jack, Assistant Professor of Education at Harvard Graduate School and author of the highly acclaimed book, "The Privileged Poor: How Elite Colleges are Failing Disadvantaged Students." Dr. Jack will discuss his book, as well as issues facing higher education moderated by Oscar Miranda and Vice President for Student Life, Jon Dooley. There will also be an
